im new to subarus but is it much haredr to swap inthe twin turbo ej20tt than the single turbo ej20t?i have a 95 impreza L sedan and would it cost more for the wiring harness to be redone.ill have someone do the wiring but my question is is there a difference from the 2?:confused: i know on of the exhaust pipes are going to need some reconfiguration to fit plus some wrx crossmembers,etc. but how much harder is it.thanks................................ any info will be helpful:D

You'll probably be told to search, but in short the twin turbo engine will only fit if you convert to single turbo. Or if you found a RHD mail lagacy :D

or just do custom piping to the 2nd turbo. it can be had!

The short answer, yes it can be done. Yes it is much more involved than a single turbo JDM Subaru motor. Why bother? The twin-turbo setup in the JDM Subarus is hardly the end-all, be-all performance motor. In fact, no one has shown it has any more potential than a regular single turbo motor.

Not worth the headache and extra expense, IMHO.

hey thanks for the info it helped alot:D ok with that said is there a more potent powerplant than the ej20t.i found a place that sells the ej20t for $650 : www.nippon-motors.com .......understanding the fact im going to need alot more parts than they are giving me but for what im going for is bang for your buck type motor.im not askin to drag it out but just have it for a weekend warrior?but still be daily driven.is there any more info you or anyone else can help me out....thanks;)

Ok, first off the ej20 has been around a while. The ej20t that nippon sells is the older legacy turbo motor. You will need a lot of extra parts to get this working.
If you're seriously interested i have a 93 turbo legacy engine package for sale for 1100 bux. This includes almost everything you need except radiator to make your car turboed.
