does anyone know if it is possible to put a 1997 3.3 svx h6 engine in to a 1998 2.5rs ? if not what h6 would fit?

Don't waste your time trying to shoehorn in a 3.3. Instead get the new 3.0, it's much shorther and will have better aftermarket availablity.
There is someone here that just put one of these in a 2 door impreza for scca.

I second the idea that an EG33 would own in an Impreza... anyone know if there are modifications that can be done to the engine or car to make it fit?

I've heard that the EG33 is more more mod friendly, as the block is stronger, and also the torque down low is something I crave... I'm sure the 3.0 has it too, but 300mL's more makes quite a difference.
