View Full Version : anybody have 19 on a wrx? sigma pi 07-31-2003, 05:26 AM does it rub like no other or is it bearable. i have the stock wheels for racing but i want the bling bling rims. what size are they loreley 07-31-2003, 06:00 AM the stock size is 16x6.5 there are a few people who run 19s without issue. of course that depends on certain factors, offset, width, tire choice, sedan or wagon, etc... i think theres a guy with a sn of "///m3roadster" or something like that running 19s on his wrx sedan. try giving it a search. novy 07-31-2003, 09:58 AM In Europe WRX are delivered with 17" wheels. If you go from 215/45R17 (Standard) to 225/35R19 the radius increases only by 0.3". Experience showed that some wheels rub when the offset is bigger than standard and the car lowered. Anyway for show 19" is a must have. I guess even 20" would be possible  I went for 18" and think they are way too small... That's how my 18" look like. http://www.realcar.net/albums/album11/dsc04170.jpg and thats an example of 19": http://www.autohug.ch/gfx/galerie2b.jpg  516_WRX_V2 07-31-2003, 10:24 AM i had 19's black with polished lip(racing harts) i loved the way they look, but i love my 17's alot more now!!! DanD 07-31-2003, 01:19 PM A guy around here has 19's on his sedan, and I don't think he rubs that bad. ha-evolution 07-31-2003, 02:46 PM 19's should work as long as the offset is correct. |
