I am looking to get my windows tinted on a WRX sedan. Were is a good place to get this done and about how much should I expect to pay? Also what is a good shade to go with?

shades of comp is okay...250+ probably....

if anyone wants a good deal on tint, PM me if you are SERIOUS about doing it in the next 1-2 weeks. I get a great deal at Shades. Maxx has seen me there many times, and I give them alot of business. My windows were done there, EMSWRX, Code-7 & Original 337 from the AK Motorsports Board also.

had my windows done there as well.. thinkin of getting a sunroof put in there.....800$ is pretty good price for a power sunroof....

i went to shades as well, I did have some issues with the tints coming off, but they quickly replaced them under no charge. Goods guys to work with too.

I think they are moving their shop soon, over near Lake Otis and Dowling (maybe a couple of streets over):)

strip of tinting material applied to the top edge, known in the industry as
an "eyebrow," which does not extend downward more than five inches from the

so 70% up front, 40% on back...this is what the statute says anyways...

But if you have any factory tint on your windows (which most cars with AC do), and get your windows tinted to those levels you will be past the legal limit when they test you. So if you get a cop that is an a-hole, then you will still get a ticket.

But I have found as long as you stay away from the strip you are probably OK.
