I'm a little confused about this thread.

Is this thread just for those first 10 people who signed up, or are you taking payments for batch two?

And if you are taking payments for batch two, they are $160?....and if you are paid now they will be sent when?

Or maybe some of those people who originally signed up haven't paid, so you're giving people the opportunity to take their spot and get a spoiler from batch one?

Are any batch one spoilers still available?

travmn: i am sorry.. but like most of hand laid fiberglass & carbon fiberproducts is the cosmetic blemishes on the products which is completely normal and it's recommended that you have a body shop to prep, pre fit, primer and paint the product.

To those who got the fiberglass one already, how is the quality ?. I saw the real mines spoiler on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33638&item=2432953771 ) , but I don't think i'd be able to afford the real one :(

The fiber glass was molded great my body guy was really suprised at the quality...should have the trunk back with the spoiler molded by Saturday....will keep you guys posted.

This has already been discussed before. What is the price on one being painted threw your guy. I HIGHLY doubt it's any worse than the price my painter would charge to paint one item. I had told you I was out of town for 3 weeks and wanted to get it back painted since you didn't get to ship it out in time for me to take it to my painter.

I am probably the only one that is getting Midnight Black Pearl anyhow. I will be back to my house October 3rd. At which time I would love to be able to install a properly finished and painted spoiler.

It's just a freaking spoiler. You are right.

It's also a vendor making promises. I'm not trying to be mean. But red flags are starting to go off for me about this. I posted simply to let people know my feelings.

BTW, he said he would be putting up pictures "in a couple of days" of the second batch. That was four days ago. Still no pictures.

He also said that he had resolved the shipping issues. Has anyone started to receive their pieces?

These are the issues that are troubling me. Anyone have any answers? Modified?

I too have money riding on this. But I know there was a loss involved and Modified Toys has been around for a little while so I am not too worried about getting ripped. I mean I want my spoiler just as bad as anyone else.

An update would be nice though.

yea dont post that stuff here, all you do is make more people worry, if you want to voice your opinion like that, voice it to modified toys directly, not to us. We all know the situation.

Some unfortunate personal issues have came up with Richard during the span of this GB. The man is still human. Please everyone, sometimes thing come up that nobody knows about or wants. The bottom line is, Modified Toys, and Richard have taken care of hundreds of customers on Nasioc and not one of them has had a complaint.

For the sake of those who really want to stick by this, thanks it will be benieficial to your car, for those that don't. Well, dont.

whoa guys, jeez cut the guy some slack, his last post was on the 24th, that was a couple days ago. i can understand being concerned (with all of the scams on the jdm lights and such), but rich posted here and let people know that he is dealing with some family issues.

sit tight and give it a few days, i'm sure it will be fine. check the vendor review forum if you are feeling jipped, i think their continuing vendor status and reviews speak for themselves.

I'm out too. Modified has never said ok to a second gb anyway and several people have asked. Full Pm boxes, guys posting asking for responses to their e-mails, and the other issues I've already mentioned make this a "no-go" for me.

Just got the wing now... Looks like a very sturdy piece. Very smooth. Wish I had the original to compare it to. Other than that it's pretty much ready to paint. I'll try to post a few pics soon.

Glad i was part of the dot dot dot...My lip was waiting for me after work. Looks good. Its gonna need a little prep before painting but nothing i didnt expect. I still think i am going to try to mold it into the trunk. I will post pics.

There is an M5 next to my work that has a similar (sp?) lip to the mines but it has two small corner peices that taper the edges off. It makes the transistion from trunk to rear panel very smooth. Modified, you may want to look into this (maybe after you get caught up) Thanks Again Tom:)

our retail is $240 shipped... maybe more because of the prices on the materials..

carbon fiber version is on the works.. we had a couple made.. but they didn't turned out the way we wanted so we scrapped all of them and remaking them until we like them or at least matchin or beating the original mines piece in terms of quality and fit :D
