I was thinking about this earlier today, and I know it'd definitely be overkill, but would it even help it all? I have a lot of switches in my car that need use (4 to be exact).

mebby i'm losing it.. but I thought water injection was quite a bit different than ic water spray :confused:
plus i don't see a whole lot of use for ic water spray on an fmic, as they do not get heatsoaked like the tmic's.

it is....they are very different, but in the same sense they both reduce detonation by reducing intake air temps, and water injection also takes that a step further because of the atomization of water....


Maybe a Ntercooler or a DryO2 setup on the FMIC?

the difference is likely very little.. until you start using cooling methods to get you below ambient, like you just touched on.
Like i said, i wouldn't bother with ic spray on an fmic.. but water injection always has interested me.

Let me get this right.....you are looking to add WI/IC spray just to hook somthing to the switches you installed?:rolleyes: :confused: :huh: :confused:

well, water injection has always been on my list, but i put in switches where the 2nd DIN below my aftermarket radio, and I'm looking for things to hook them up to. I wasn't sure if both IC waterspray and water injection could be used...

screamin, yes you could use both. Obviously if you had to choose one, water injection would make the biggest difference, require a some tuning to take advantage of it as well. Water spray, well to quote my freind in his EVO 8 at the track "Whether i sprayed or didn't spray it made no difference in my times"

yea i didn't think IC waterspray made that much difference on a FMIC

that IC water spray will make a difference in booting you out of the strip.
