View Full Version : fan blower distorts sound of radio when on AM dingo dave 09-19-2003, 06:48 PM When i first got my car i noticed that the higher i turned the fan up the more static i would get when listening to AM radio. After a couple of months it went away but has since returned. What could be causing this? It doesn't do it when listening to FM or when listening to CD/tape player. grimlock 09-22-2003, 11:18 AM A bad ground wire on your radio. Is it stock or aftermarket? If it's stock I'm surprised. Check that versus the fan motor rate--you'll need a tech manual.
