the reverse lights on my dad's 03 forester are pretty weak. he had his windows lightly tinted and now it's even worse.

he asked if there is a way of upgrading the bulbs w/o melting the lenses, or use some sort of aftermarket fog lights and use them as back up lights when shifting into reverse.

can it be done? if so, how?

Does the Forester use the same 7440 bulb as the Imprezza?

i would suspect it is, but the forester reverse light lens is 1/2 the size of an impreza one...
