I remember reading that people have made their own silvervisions by spraying some silver paint on orange bulbs. Anyone know what kind of paint I should try? Any suggestions, etc? Thanks!

high temp!!! silver paint. can pick some up for a few bucks at your local autoshop. I just used a paperclip to hold out the bulb and give it a THIN full coat. Let it dry and be careful when you install b/c the paint scratches off very easy.

And the bulb will shine through as orange? Also will only silver work, or like white, or black? Well maybe not black...hehe

Any silver should work, possibly white also. Just make sure that you get High Temp paint or it will burn off. I just used Dupli-Color High Heat with Ceramic 1200 deg in Aluminum #DH1606.

I used it for my bulbs and I painted to stock Calipers.

The main trick is a LIGHT coat.

a thin coat...and an EVEN coat...if not you can see the blotches of paint...and it doesnt need to be high temp....i used some chrome hobby paint ...it worked fina and was actually more durable than regular spray paint....
