I haven't seen many in North America but saw heaps in Japan. I'd be interested in this one if I didn't just put a new exhaust on my car. When I got the exhaust, the flange bolts did not line up with US cat convertor, thus I had to chop the flange off and reweld it. Here is the test data from Fujitsubo Max ouput 97.8 kW (133 PS) / 5810 rpm stock 102.1 kW (138.9 PS) / 5920 rpm Max Torque 175.4 NEM (17.9 kgEm) / 4540 rpm stock 181.3 NEM (18.5 kgEm) / 4460 rpm Noise Level stock LEGALIS idle 64 dB 64 dB 3000rpm 78 dB 76 dB 5000rpm 84 dB 83 dB 4000rpm`6000rpm 94 dB 95 dB (Full throttle) I do not think it will fit a 99 Legacy though. According to Fujitsubo, 2 cars use different exhaust. Also, I might be interested in the exhaust as well, how much of a power gain would I receive? Also, would I need a new ECU for this sort of stuff? Im running a Bomz Racing Cold Air Intake right now w/ stock ECU... Jason 10-06-2003, 02:34 AM Power gain is difficult to tell, but based on Fujitsubo's factory figure. It should have at least 5hp boost over stock. You do not need reprogram your ECU, but it will be helpful if you have a SAFC to tune the car with. |
