I'm not sure though i will be sure to check with Enkei tommorow and post the answer.

Should clear all stock impreza calipers including WRX, Enkei couldn't give me a clear answer on STi brakes so we have a set comming to test fit onto an STi i'm hoping that by early next week i will be able to tell you for sure.

how about lugnuts?

Theses rims work just fine on stock lugs though i can supply socket lugs, or lighweight lugs for rays, i will post pricing on optional lug stuff very soon.

yes the rims come with the correct hub rings


STI UPDATE: Enkei says they will fit, however tueday afternoon we will be test fiting a set to an actual STi to be certian, so by tuesday night it should be posted.



Also i have had several email looking for a wider version, unfortunatly no wider version is available for the subaru pattern, though i will be extending this buy to mitsu Evo owners, the EVO size in 17 inch by 9 inch! with a 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern and a 35 mm offset, the price for lancer wheels is 15.00 more per wheel, so the total pcakege goes to 710.00 for EVO wheels. Beside Enkei not making them there ios no way a larger wheel would fit into a subaru wheel well, so i guess its a moot point.

Well I'm very sorry to report that the rims did not clear the STI brakes

its prety close but close only counts in hourse shoes and hand granades!

this may kill they buy as the main interest seems to be with STI owners so i'll let everyone know once i crunch the numbers.

could you tell us how much of a difference on the Brembo clearance? actually these are going on a GC8 with aftermarket 4-pot Wilwoods.

How about the RC5 instead. The Enkei Japan site says the RC5 in 17 x 8 fits the GDB (STi).

Iabout Rims to fit STIs, As you guys may or may not know, we test fit them, and I’m sorry to report that they did not clear the brakes. However I’m offering as alternative, a very nice rim, the first set is up on Ebay, and depending on response I may be offering another buy. Please take a look, via the following URL:

are these rims really ~15 lbs?

19 is a bit high, RO_JA list them at 14.7, and after reading this i threw one on the shipping scale, and it says 16lbs flat, so thats what i'm willing to stand by.

is this GB still going?:confused:

at this point no, it is not, howver a new one with a much cheaper rim set that will clear STi brakes will be up very soon, for those who were interested in these rims i can probably work something out to include a few sets of these. the new GB will be 1. cheaper 2. clear the STi brakes, and 3. still be an Enkei wheel.

i will let everyone know once it has been finalized.

Do you happen to know the weight on those? And with the offset being 40, is it going to look weird on 02 wrx's? ... as in, are the wheels going to stick out from the fender wells? either way, awesome price!

There are pics on the site, i can try and get some on an 02 wrx, they shouldn't stick out too bad, they really don't at all on the STi, thats kinda where i'm aiming these rims, at STi winter wheels.

i'm goiong to try and some pics on a standard wrx
