If your ECU is map to run on 93 octane, yes you should have a little more power.

wrx what.........thanks ;)

Could be higher could be lower. The kind of dyno they are using is going to make it vary wildly. I would say this dyno is probably a bit on the optimistic side. You can't compare results from different dynos at all. I thought that one side was torque at first, do you have a graph of your torque as well?

Peak power at the wheel is all around 260 whp. I think something like 258, 259, 261.....etc. The peak torque is 288.3 lb-ft at the crank.
260whp sounds right, that is what TurboXS got on there STi. Most other dynos get around 250whp.

I question the torque? You say at the crank? Not the wheel? Why would they give you wheel hp and crank torque?

I also have to go on record saying, I don't like XS Engineering charts. Why don't they show torque on there? And why do they show M.A.P. kPa? And why don't they have each side of the chart on the same scale? That just drives me batty! :furious:

260ish HP Wheel & 280ish torque at the crank? huh?

It's a little high. I got 248 bone stock and 250 whp with removed resonator box. I was hittting 14.8 psi.

Just to confirm. The DTS Dyno is the highest reading dyno of them all. That does not mean the dyno is a bad dyno.... Just for comparison purposes it reads higher then others.

Thanks

Somehow the way the DTS dyno work, it doesn't measure torque at the wheel.

God.....may I ask what dyno do you use?

Clark.......thanks, I am aware of that. I like it because it make me feels good :p The fact is, dyno # from different brand dyno just can't be compare. My purpose is just so I know how much power I gain after I do all the mods, as long as I stay with one dyno, I am good.

I have a Dynapack 5000 dyno. Our new software reads a bit lower than Turbo XS's Dynapack 4000.

Thanks.

I always think Dynapack will read the highest since it is measuring power at the hub, it doesn't include the power lost from the weight of the wheels and tires. But there are so many factor involved :(
