This piece is made out of dry carbon, unlike other shroud on the market is made off wet carbon. The price for the Shroud is $90 shipped. dry carbon is stronger and lighter then wet carbon, it also cost more to make them in dry carbon, thats why most of the company use wet carbon. i will post close up pics later on today. thanks

SP Engineering's Radiator Shroud or APR's Radiator Shroud?

they are the same thing, SP ask APR to make those shrouds for them and re-badge them.

this shroud will fit 04 wrx and sti too, as soon as we get 12 people i will closed the group buy before OCT 30.

Come on peeps...some other vendor on the forum is selling them for 120 shipped...30 bucks in savings...even though it won't exactly do much for your car at low speeds...just imagine what your friends will say when you pop the hood....oh yeah!

If they are made by APR and are the exact same, I know for a fact that they will fit because Hummer put one on his STi.

Can you post a picture of the stock radiator shroud on the STI?

That would definitely be what would persuade me to lay down that kind of cash or not.

It directs more air into the radiator instead of up and around it... though its largely bling...

Perhaps this guy is a deadbeat. I do not know but I will give him the benefit of the doubt until I find out otherwise. If he did decide to use interstate commerce to defraud us, then he violated federal law. If this is so, I will hunt him down and bring him back to NASIOC meeting place where others can tar and feather him.
