Hey Guys,
I wanna gut the Subi in prep for a rollcage, and wanna know somethign about removing wires... kinda broad I know.

Lets say we are removing the cruise control and all of its supporting wires/lights/etc.

If I got and remove the wires that are responsible for it, will I trigger any sort of problem (like a CEL on an engine)?

Anything I should look out for?

It is possible that you may get better response from the conversions forum, or the motorsports forum as those people frequently deal with this type of dis-assembly---re-assembly and they may know of pitfals to avoid/possible fixes for your project.
Subie Gal, or others involved in racing may be of invaluable assistance to you, as well.

I would personally look at the OBDII code list & see what is in the ECU's known code list...

obvious ones... air bags, fuel tank, etc.

most sensors can be bypassed with use of resistors & knolledge of required values on the sensor you are chopping out...
