Hey guys, check these videos out. They are shot at night so the visibility aint great. Me and my friend got together and wanted to hear the differences between the 2 mufflers.

My car (orbiterxx.mpg) has an apex'i dunk with custom 2.5" piping, greddy airinx filter, minnam intake. (5speed 99rs)

friends car (keihoxx.mpg) has the blitz nurspec muffler with 3" rear section, blitz filter, minnam intake. (auto 2k rs)

what do u guys think?

Wow, Orbiter's car sounds like a rallycar, while I hate to say it, but Keiho's sounds kinda like a Honda! Not that that's a bad thing, it just sounds really high-pitched & raspy like it's ripping something up.

Yea...people with the equipment should do it...then we can have sound/picture comparison of the different kinds of mufflers and mods. That would be nice...

BTW, the sidemarker mod they're talking about on Orbiter's car is that they are lighted up even when he doesn't have his turn signals on...and when the signals are on it still blinks.

Sweet. I have always wondered what my car sounds like coming down the road. I need to borrow my dad's mavica and make an mpeg of my own. Although I have a Dunk myslef I have to admit that I like the sound of the blitz a little better, but both sound great.

anyways.. we used a digital camcorder.. but unfortunately didnt have an s-video cable.. so had to dub to vhs. and then capture to computer =).. but next time we do it we'll be more prepared.

and the sidemarker mod is to have the corners on constant.. but still blink with turn signals.. looks neat at night. thats why i did it.

If you buy an Intel VideoCamera Pro model you get an RCA input jack on the back of it for importing video into mpeg, and the software will mix in the sound you feed into the line-in jack on your sound card.

I am really a fan of leaving the exhaust off after the rear flange. I ran at a drag track with no muffler, just the bare flange and it sounded like a crew of psychotic lumberjacks attacking a redwood with obscene chainsaws.

I like keiho's better it has that smooth sound I like, not that motorcycle/chainsaw sound, no offense orbiter.
