Hi Guys love the stuff u do here,

I have a 98' Liberty Rx (In Aust. so its RHD) and i want to buy a jap half-cut of a b4, with the ej20tt donk.

I ve found some info on 99'-02' B4's and it said that it has a much taller gearbox and a final drive (diff) of 3.333:1, i think the RX's is 3.2:1. Does this mean i will have to change my rear diff to a 3.333 ratio one? And where would i find such a diff?

Also with the Rx would it be easiest to install a front mound intercooler, or try and make a dodgy bonnet air scoup myself or try and find a genuine aluminium B4 bonnet?

Any help would be great thanks:disco:

Jimmy,
B4 bonnets can be found if you shop around. I am in kind of a hurry or I would go get you some links. But come over to http://bbs.legacycentral.org/ and do some searching and you will likely find what you need.

As for the final drive you can do one of two things. You can leave the stock tranny, which is strong enough for that engine or you switch the final drive. There are a ton of tuners down under that you could source that tranny from, or the importer who gets you the front clip will likely be able to source one for you with the rest.
I am sure others will chime in and give you some more specific guidance... And welcome to our sandbox

p.s. in America the term "jap" is considered a racial slur by many...some people around here might get offended, so you might want to edit that to JDM...
