(This is not FraudulentNeon.. It's his freind posting under his name)

I just worked on FraudulentNeons WRX for like the last eight hours installing the used NOS fogger kit we picked up last week. Mounted the bottle, ran the lines, mounted the solenoids, spliced the fuel line, did the wiring. Tested the system w/o the nozzle in place... sprays both fuel and nitrous (jetted for 50 shot... 37n/22f). Good. Then we went out to drive the car with about 1000psi in the bottle (heated it) and hit the big red NAWZ switch at 4k in 2nd.

And then the ****ing car bucked. Only lasted a sec, but it was scary... then continued accelerating like normal. The boost rose maybe a pound or two over normal (18 or so vs 16) during the bucking. No TFATF nawz punch for us.

What's wrong with it? The wiring obviously works since when we hit the switch with the nozzle off the hose to the TB it sprays both fuel and nitrous. I'm seriously suspecting it's fuel related. The fuel side is fed through a fuel line that exits the fuel filter that we T-ed out. After trying to spray we also did smell fuel, although we made sure that ther were no leaks.

Man... a fuel pressure gauge would sure be handy right now. Only other mods on the car are 3" TBE and Cobb ECU.

It has come to my attention that instead of T-ing out a fuel line we should have run it into the place on the end of the fuel rail where you can check fuel pressure... does the WRX have one of these?

That sounds to me like it could be two things:
1. You're hitting the stock 18psi fuel cut. (I don't know if the COBB ECU overrides that)
2. You're running out of fuel - go get a Walbro pump.

Like the NOS site says, start with the lowest power level, and go up from there. Good luck.
