Hey guys,

I just brought my car home from having work done on the back end after an accident. Last night I noticed that the license plate lights weren't on and I figured that the impact from the accident ruined the bulbs, this afternoon I replaced them and that didn't resolve the issue.

I haven't ripped the trunk up yet, but am I correct in understanding that the electric for the license plate lights comes from the trunk? I didn't see anything in the owners manual about what fuse these lights would be on, so I haven't checked any of the fuses. All other lights as far as I can tell work just fine.

Does anyone know what fuse the license plate lights would be on?

Any suggestions on where to start looking in trying to fix this problem?

Thanks a ton.

They would be on the same fuse as the parking lights. But if the car was just fixed, why not go back to them and tell them they didn't finish the job? Make them fix it, considering they didn't do it right the first time!

Fixing it myself versus having not having a car for another few days. . . .Fixing it myself wins. Parking lot fuse is fine the parking lighst work, so I guess I get to pull out the trunk innards this weekend.

I got this all figured out, as expected there was something not plugged in. Fixed the situation, now I got extra license plate lights for when they go out :)

Luckily I didn't have to rip my trunk apart, I just had to take the carpet out and remove the plastic around the trunk latch.
