i just installed my headlights, everythin works but the high beam doesnt..when i switch it to high beam, the light goes on but the low beam turns off..can u guys help me figure out whats wrong, i used cc-b's PnP wiring harness...thanks

Are you saying the high beams don't work at all, or that they work but the low beams don't stay on? If the former you have a problem, if the latter you don't. The lows won't stay on with the highs on STi lights.

and, despite the adjectives to describe the harness, you cut the wires to the lights, right?

that's cut-and-crimp-and play, not plug and play..

This is the main reason that I won't be installing HIDs anytime soon (that, and I'm broke).

My lows turn off when I go to highbeam. Clicking from high to low will result in NO lights while waiting for the HIDs to "fire".

You didn't install them wrong, the no low with high feature is a voltage saving measure.

EDIT: When you said that "...the light goes on..." Did you mean the dash indicator (for the high beam)?
