A friend of mine totaled his '03 WRX and he's willing to sell some of the parts to me that survived the accident. Exactly what would I need to do to my '00 RS in order to utilize his turbo and intercooler? What other accompanying parts would my vehicle require in order to turbocharge it? How much in labor would I be looking at in order for his turbo system to be installed on my vehicle? Would it be practical for me to use these parts? Keep in mind I have a '00 RS sedan with 4EAT. I'm not looking to become STI fast, just maybe as fast as an automatic WRX (7 sec 0-60 time). I wouldn't be taking it to the track and running the 1/4 mile, I'm just simply looking for some added umph in acceleration. I'd mainly be focusing on 0-60 times and short bursts of speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I don't know how much help you'll find in this forum. You should probably ask in the Conversion forum. This forum is for cars that aren't WRX's and have a turbo from the factory. It seems neither of the cars you're dealing with fit that equation. I'm not trying to be a d*ck. I'm just trying to get you better/more information. Good luck!
