well hi all.
im new to NASIOC and i was just browsing and i saw you guys talking about VF turbos
my eye was caught on the ihi vf-34 turbo. i just ordered one for $850 shipped. and i just wanted to know what are all the items that come with YOUR vf-34. i want to make sure i have everything.
like gaskets bolts whatever
and im doing this type of project and i just wanted to ask you guys for advise.
most probably ...installing this turbo will require MORE than just that. i concluded to all of the following that might be needed.
-turbo exhaust/uppipe/downpipe.
-Fuel pump
-fuel injectors
-boost controller
-engine managemnt system (AFC) or (UTEC)
-...mmm spark plugs?...
as u can see i still have a lot more studying to do. and just curious if i got everything right?...for im installing everything myself.:eek: but hopefully you guys will help me out :p

I don't have dB levels for the Stromung (does anybody?), but definitely more quiet than the Greddy EVO catback.

$345.00 High-flow cat for the new age RS

A slight modification needs to be made for 02 RS models and up. A longer O2 wire needs to be fabricated, because the second O2 bung sits a little further down the cat on the GC8 RS than it does on the new age RS. We made one from a customer using a part of the GC8 harness and a plug from an O2 sensor to make it plug and play. If it were my car, I would just solder in some wire to lengthen the harness.

Yeah, the non-group buy price for the GC8 intermediate pipe is $155. Our group buy doesn't include the high-flow cats; only catback s ystems. :)

The discount on the intermediate pipes is only a few $'s, so there's really not much to be saved by waiting. The real price break was due to the mufflers, we just thought that more people would be interested in a complete cat-back system.

This is one of the most iffy GB's I've ever seen. I'm almost suprised that it didn't have to be a day that doesn't have the letter "A" in it. Just for a 70 dollar price break.

They sure do. You can get the primary part standard or with the divorced wastegate.. and you can get the second part with a metal substrate cat or cat-less.

Nope. Scott at Stromung stands behind his work. If there are any defects, you'll should be able to send your muffler back for a new one.
