so i do alot of city driving and am concerned with rising IC temps, so i was thinking about the Ntercooler kit from NX. i know it seems stupid and its alot of money and a similar effect can be achieved with a DIY water spray mod, but im in the works for an elaborate A/V install and i think the bottle from the Ntercooler kit would be a nice addition. while i know it seemes like alot to pay for just something that looks nice, im sure it would help with my IC temp worries and i would like to have it.
TH REAL QUESTION IS: does the IC ring or "halo" from the kit fit the stock IC? or would i need a custom one? and if anybody has one i would greatly appreciate any insight into its uses.

They make a kit for the stock TMIC. This isnt stock but you can see how the kit fits.

Instead of wasting all of that money why don't you just order a 10lb bottle from nitrous express, a nitrous solenoid, and 2 hoses? Hook the bottle up, mount solenoid, run the lines, wire from the nitrous solenoid to a push botton in your car. Cheap, easy, fun, just as effective, fill the bottle with CO2 instead.

Bingo thisis what I did, with an old NOS setup I had. I even bent a spray bar with copper tubing and a pipe bender for less then $40 (pipe bender tool, piping and compression fittings) Then I drilled small holes in the pipe, works awesome though it lacks a little of the finish the NX kit has but I was able to mount the solenoid remotely which looks better. Works awesome and cheap.
I wish I had a remote bottle opener because it is a pain to open and close the tank.
