Today I run a "Porsche Fun Run" in my stock MY00 2.5 RS (only non-Porsche there) and met up with people at the top of Stunt Rd. Everyone in their Porsches laughed at my car and one guy even had the nerve to called it an "econ-box." :furious: Once my brother and I got there all the cars left for more canyon driving. It was the GT2 first then me then the "econ-box" guy in his V8 Porsche then about 20 other Porsches behind us. The GT2 lost us in about 2 secs but as I started going all the Porsches started falling behind me in my "econ-box". When we regrouped the V8 Porsche guy took back everything he said about my car.

The point of this WAY TO LONG thread:

BTW a 928 S4 is RWD and owns the 1987 landspeed record for production cars at 172mph DUDE. I seriously doubt that he was worried about a 2.5RS.

Well most of them were....It was the faster cars in front. About 4 or 5 cars behind me were being very competative and trying to catch up with my....The cars were a 928 S4, 944, and a 944 Turbo that were trying to keep up with me

We all drive econoboxes......... I guess yours is a "sports coupe."

Sorry, but WRX's/RS's aren't econobox's. The gas mileage is HORRIBLE and the price isn't nec economy (civic, etc). Compact car, yes.
