It is on top of 3 coats of mother's cleaner wax. I'd like to say claybar would take it right off, but I have never used claybar, only seen it used.

Need to get this off asap.

I have used "goo-off" to clean certain areas of my car. works well to remove sticker gunk and other things. The stuff is pretty strong, so I dont know if it will remove paint or not, but it is better then nothing.

I bottle of goo-off is like $4 at home depot or lowes.. good luck.

Sucks about the car :(

Hopefully it will just come off with the wax. Wow, that really ticks me off. I hate kids who have no respect for anything.

It couldn't hurt to try clay bar. I've used it for general cleaning/polishing before waxing. I have also used 3m adhesive remover (available at any auto parts store). I've never had to remove spray paint like that, though.

go to a do it yourself car wash and wash your car with the tire and engine degreaser! i know this sounds stupied but when i was in school for auto body the teacher showed us that the best way to remove wax from a car is to take it to the was and clean it with the tire degreaser! after washing the car in the degreaser make sure you wash the car the regular way and then you will have to de wax. i dont know if it will remove the spray paint but i know it takes away wax so if the spray paint is sitting on top of your wax than it should take care of your problem. Sounds dumb but it should work

Wow- first step: kick those little bastard in the ass. 2nd step: Wash the area and clay the crap out of it. Should come off fairly easily, but get on it beforte the paint really cures.

use alittle gas lightly. test the area. then clay it and wax it again. really sucks though. from now on hide in some trees and do a little ambush with a big bat!!!!!

 Wow that is too bad. I have used clay magic and ultra lube to remove overspray off my car but never had something this bad to remove. I would take it to good body shop and see what they recommend.

1 - call the police and report this

2 - you can try engine degreaser...
that's what we use to remove left over goo from vinyl/stickers n such....

3 - call your insurance co... cuz i think you're going to need em.

i'm about at a loss here. that is just horrible  :(

I took it to a little shop near my house.

Guy armed himself with a terry cloth and squirted a custom mix on it...buffed in a few places, looked at me, scratched at it with his fingernail, said "no prob" then gave me a ride back home.

I reported it, but since everyone is on "HIGH" alert they said they would call me back and question me. I snapped a few high-res pics and took it to a shop.

That's awful. I would destroy whoever did that, just like if I ever catch the person(s) who keyed the entire driver side of my car.

I'm glad it will come off though. Keep us updated if you find the little bastages.

I would just sit there and watch my car for perps like that.. nothing like a good beating of the kids while they are on my property.

I park my car on the grass where it's off the county right-of-way easement. At least I know my car is on my property.

Sorry to hear about the car. It's a good thing you have like a billion layers of wax on top. Claying should come a long way since the paint is just floating on top.. it's not like hitting a traffic cone where the cone would rub off the wax AND embed the dirty onto the clearcoat.

will claybarring even help that much? like subiegal said, call the police and file an insurance claim!

Sorry to hear/see about what happened to your car.

But don't worry about it, spray paint these days come off very easily from car paint with the cleaning agents we have at our disposal these days. There was an article in the paper here a while back about "hippie" types that spraypainted a bunch of SUVs, and the insurance company here simply wiped it off. Everything was cleaned in about less than an hour.

And yes, hope you catch those filthy bastards.

Sorry about the car, that is awaful!:( one day i was driving my mr2 and a painters truck started to dump cans of paint off the back and red one exploded on my red car. after baking all day outside while i was in class i was not able to get off the paint. My mom also got white spray paint on my green integra while she was painting so craft junk, that too did not come off even after many hours for trying about everything i had. i would call the police and your insurance company. good luck

terrible! terrible! terrible! :( sorry to see this.

but on the lighter side, you will probably be able to buff it
off with claybar and some ScratchX. do report it to the
cops. It's probably kids closeby. Watch for kids while
you work on your car in the same location. I bet the
same kids will comeby to check you out. If they start
asking questions, nab them...it's probably the same kids.

So are you actually African American? I mean, no matter what, what they did was really ****ed up. It would be 10 times more ****ed up if you are black and actually celebrated the kwanzaa holiday.

If that happened to me, I would feel so embarassed driving around with that on my car, an extremely crude and absolutely distasteful racial slur on the side of my car, If it wouldn't have come off I would have sand papered it. So degrading, Those little ****s will get what's coming to them.

What in gods name?

why would they paint,

"Happy Kwanzaa Nig!" on a white guys car?

I mean, if you are going to spray paint some random person's vehicle, at least make it something THAT MAKES SENSE FOR GODS SAKE.

These people were stuipid in every sense of the word.

That really sucks. Hope they get caught. I would have called my insurance agent and got a new paint job. Glad it came out though, looks like a brand new car. On the positive side at least they wished you a happy kwanzaa instead of some nasty comments more often used.

Maybe they got the wrong car....any other similar white cars that may have been confused with yours in the immediate area?
Chances are the assclowns are local to you...
I'd set up some lo-light surveillance on it and fry the asses of the clowns.

If you listen to the rantings of a lot of racist morons, you can often hear that they put non-whites into one group and do not distinguish between them. So maybe they would say the Africans are taking over the farm jobs in California when it's really the Mexicans (not trying to be racist or blaming or isolating groups, just making a point).

You can tell these people are real morons.

Good job on getting the car clean!
