friend of mine told me that cold air intake damages engine during winter time:confused: and i was wondering if he was right or not

Your friend is a moron:) The purpose of a cold air intake is to get cooler air for combustion.

I'd say the Cobb
I have a Ganzflo which uses the stock air box, paired with a Amsoil 2 stage filter. I really like this setup as with the seattle rainy weather I do not worry about the filter getting wet at all.

I had the Injen on my 2002 WRX. I liked. Good sounds from the BOV and the turbo.


Nothing yet for the STi. There is debate on whether they work well for it.

With fenderwell mount intakes beware of larger puddles - read: lift off the throttle before going through them.
