I am looking to get a boost gauge. I am not planning on buying any other gauges so the defi setup is not for me. Does anybody have any advice to give me on a gauge for around 100 bucks?

You can try the stock gauge or an Autometer unit. I personally don't like Autometer and would recommend Greddy or Blitz. Those will run around $150-220 though depending on the type of gauge you choose.

Hit up Thaison at J-Spec tuning - you can get a gauge to match the gauges in the 2004 with a green backgroud and red needle from http://www.j-spectuning.com for $100 for a 45mm!

is there a way to crack open the factory boost gauge and change the backlight from green to red so it will match the STi ? or is the overpriced Defi the only way to go... I'm looking for a boost gauge also.
