I just put my HIDs into my JDM lights yesterday, I unplug my daily driving lights like year ago, when the car was off everything work perfect, I could turn them off and on without any problems, but when I start my car and put ebrake down they turn on like DDL, and I couldnt turn them of with the light switch, only way to turn them off was shut my car down or lift the ebrake, but like i said before I unplug my daily driving lights like year before....
anyone had that probelm before?
Please help
Peter

My guess here is that you disconnected the DRL unit under the hood, which is only a dropping resistor for the stock lights and does not disable the main DRL control module. You now have to unplug that module, which can be accessed inside the car next to the glovebox. It's a 10-pin connector on a large rectangular module, pull that and your problem is solved.

Does it solve all problems if just the module next to the glovebox is unplugged ? meaning .. i wouldn't even need to go under the hood ?
