Has anyone found a good solid mount for their Ipod. I'm looking for something I can screw down to the console or dash and have the unit facing the driver. It would be cool if it could swivel to face the passenger as well but not necessary. What are you guys using and where did you get it?
Thanks, Brian

I thought that was cool, but I wanted a stealth install so this is what I did:

Looks good. I am looking at the Pro clip option as well as Superior acc. and Arkon holders, however I'm still not crazy about the available cradles.
I also purchased the Griffin FM modulator today and am awaiting it's arrival. Naturally right after I placed my order I found info on NASIOC stating how poor it was. Oh well, I guess I'll try it out and sell it if it doesn't live up to my standards. Wish I knew someone who had one so I could try it out before I bought it. Does anyone know if the Belkin FM trasnsmitter provides better sound quality?
Moderators: It appears this should thread should have been started in the Car audio, Video and security forum. Please move. I somehow didn't even see it:rolleyes:

None of the FM modulators sound good. I had a high quality Sony unit that went inline with the antenna wire, and even that sounded bad. FM just doesn't have enough fidelity to carry CD quality sound. You'll especially notice a loss of bass.
