Charged Performance (http://www.chargedperformance.com) is proud to announce our soon to be released second proprietary product for use with Aquamist systems. Pictured here is a prototype bracket fitted with all under hood hardware for a system 2d plus some extra options, including a 30cc 100psi accumulator, and a valve to purge air in the intake line or as an intercooler sprayer.

While the bracket can be used in any application it was designed to provide a completely drill free installation of the system 2d in the WRX/STi - this location will provide significant stealth, not require relocation of any components and no drilling!

If located in place of the battery instead of the intended location all adjustments are kept handy for tuning of the system in minimal time.

The final product will be anodized black.

Keep an eye out for further developments from Charged Performance during 2004.

Ed,

can you show where this would fit. It uses existing holes, but where?

Also, how do you get the accumulator at such an angle to the uh, whatever the thing labeled 806-201 is called.

My understanding is that it screws directly into that 806-201 thing. Is there a fitting that allows mounting as you show here, and will that fitting be included in the bracket?

Currently the location of the installation is not being disclosed. It will be unveiled when the product is introduced on two tri-state area WRX/STi's. I believe the selected location is creative but will be an obvious one when it is revealed. It will not be for everyone as it is a stealthy installation making adjustment after installation less accessible. The boost reference does not have to be used on the bracket and can be relocated to an easier access point. The bracket will also provide easy mounting in other locations such as the current battery location for others that don't mind relocation and drilling. The bracket of course can also be used in non-Subie applications as well.

The pump and accumulator are mated via a tee into the pressure manifold using purpose designed fittings that Charged Performance speced and Aquamist provided. This provides not only the standard 2d pre-pressurized line but 30cc of accumlated pressure to speed the water to the jet upon engagement.

All fittings and additional components beyond the standard system 2d will be included.

Charged Performance is no longer a NASIOC vendor, and I don't think he is selling anything currently. However Ed is still an active member of NASIOC and you can try PMing him at his personal account, turboICE. He may have some info for you even if he doesn't have the product to offer directly.
