I really like the sound. It makes the car sound more like a porsche. Regards, Ashley SkirtBoy 01-14-2004, 10:05 AM Any CEL's using these on an STi? Dynamispeed 01-14-2004, 11:38 AM Originally posted by robroy72 Any CEL's using these on an STi? No, You won't get any CELs by using this header. Regards, Ashley rjrutzky 01-15-2004, 09:29 AM Interested, just waiting for the results of the header shootout. skinart76 01-16-2004, 02:34 AM The header sounds great mated to a GP Moto TBE. Stan QuickSilverSTi 01-16-2004, 01:18 PM If I get it coated, it will still have all of the factory O2 bung and EGT bung, correct? I won't lose any of the factory stuff, right? Don't want CELs. Thanks! Dynamispeed 01-16-2004, 01:28 PM Correct. The coating has no effect on any of the snesors or their installation. In the fourth pic down you can see my O2 sensor installed in the header right below the turbo. If you have a STI, you can plug the EGT bung as the STI does not have a EGT sensor. -Ashley QuickSilverSTi 01-16-2004, 03:13 PM Thanks. Sent you an email regarding shipping options. Look foward to getting an email back. Thanks! Dynamispeed 01-16-2004, 04:30 PM Reply sent. Should not be a problem;) Regards, Ashley IMPRZV1 01-20-2004, 11:28 AM I don't what makes this a group buy. I bought these headers just the other day from Rallitek and they were cheaper then that. I guess I am local so I saved on shipping but his price was cheaper. I think that they were on special over there. These headers are beautiful and can't wait to get them on my car! Regards, Ashley XT6Wagon 01-21-2004, 09:00 PM Might want to put the new price in the subject of the main post. grab a bit more attention that way gdog 01-22-2004, 06:20 PM Since this is a 4-2-1, how has your low-end been affected? All the headers I've seen (typically 4-1) have lost low rpm power. XT6Wagon 01-22-2004, 09:50 PM On my STi off boost power was better, spool and midrange felt unaffected, and high end power was increased. The WRX may be differnt as it uses a much different turbo and no AVCS screwing with the overlap of the cams. Dynamispeed 01-22-2004, 10:23 PM Originally posted by gdog Since this is a 4-2-1, how has your low-end been affected? All the headers I've seen (typically 4-1) have lost low rpm power. 4-1 headers most always have less torque than 4-2-1 designs. Just throwing the header on lost a slight amount of low end compared to a stock manifold. After installing the unichip and tuning low end is definately more than ever before. The car peaked to .9 bar at 3100 RPM in forth gear before installing engine managment. Now after tuning, the car peaks at 1.2 bar by 2900 RPM in forth gear. In short, I definately reccomend a form of engine managment to maximize the potential of this header. Regards, Ashley Dynamispeed Converted 01-23-2004, 02:55 AM Waiting on the sound clip chief! Dynamispeed 01-23-2004, 11:46 AM Ok guys. There is going to be a big meet at South Coast Subaru here in So Cali this Saturday. I'm going to take 2 videos with sound. One will be a car with a turboback exhaust, and one will be of The Dynamispeed WRX with the GP moto header and exhaust. That way you will really be able to tell the difference in sound. Regards, Ashley Converted 01-25-2004, 08:40 PM Did ya get that video yet?
