i might be purchasing a used yakima bike rack for my 2003 WRX. the rack was bought for a 2000 forester.

are the roof rails the same?

does anybody know if this rack will fit my WRX for sure?

Find a forester measure the rack spacing...then measure yours. If its real close they should work. Also check then bar shapes to make sure there the same. I would think you just need to worry about the bar width of the Yakima unit but the WRX does have a shorter wheel base or roof witch could make the rack force its cargo forward over the window more then the forester.
Just might work but look odd. Another way would be to get the specs of the rack and goto a retailer that sells the rack look up the bar lengths and bar mounts/clamps are requied and compare

or search it more over the internet
