I have 59K miles on my '00 RS and am wondering if i should take the car in to the dealer and have it looked over before the warranty expires. I guess i have some naive hope of a dealer telling me something might be wrong with the powertrain and telling me before the warranty expires.
Are there any issues I should/can address before the warranty expires?

I know there is the 60K service that has to be done anyway, but i have had most of that work done over the last 10K miles or so.

So, would it be worth the extra $100 oe so to have it looked over or should i just trust the Sub and let her warranty expire.

Do you trust your dealer? If you do, then I'd take it for one last once-over. If you're not noticing anything unusual, it's probably fine; if something were amiss, I'm sure it would be immediately apparent.

Let it go. If you've been following the recommended maintenance and not abusing it, it'll last you many more troublefree miles.

I think it's worth it, if the dealer is going to be honest. Shaddy dealerships blow.

I've got less than 500 miles before my 3/36 is up. Anyone know what the dealer might give me? Brake pads? Wiper blades? Battery? Anything? I'll have them install ... I'm not looking for parts. I'm just wondering if anyone had xp gettting something from the dealer before their warranty exp.
