I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that PDE has released a new WRX / STi downpipe! SpeedAbsolute.com will be the first retailer to have access to this new product!

The downpipe will be released in two flavors:

(1) welded in catalytic converter
(2) removable catalytic converter

Both downpipes feature 3" T-304 stainless steel construction, CAD precision-cut flanges, beautiful TIG welding inside and outside of each flange, and bellmouth design for excellent wastegate performance. In addition, PDE's downpipe features their mechanical fix for the dreaded catalyst inefficiency CEL, and the ability to use the stock donut gasket at the bottom of the downpipe for leak free installation, compatibility with any catback designed to fit the USDM Impreza, and retention of the flex/swivel feature the donut gasket provides! 3" Random Technology catalytic converters were chosen for both versions.

The removable catalytic converter version will feature 6-bolt upper and lower cat flanges and copper gaskets. The product will also ship with a straight pipe for those who want to run catless on occasion!

As with all products PDE releases, you will have a perfect fit every time! Time is spent up front by PDE design and manufacturing QA so the customer doesn't do the testing for the manufacturer!

The retail price is estimated to be at $699 for option 1 and $825 for option 2.

Sounds like the perfect choice for staying legal in STX and other autocross classes that require a catalytic converter! Please post any questions you may have!

Matt

The cat material is about 3" long by 4" wide - that's what I call a race cat!

Wow, looks nice Matt!!! Now does anyone want to buy a lightly driven, used PDE catless downpipe? And why isn't buddy in the picture?

Has Ali had you on cleanup duty in the garage? Last time we were at speedabsolute headquartes we couldn't even see the garage floor. Or is that a special area for pimpin' downpipes?

Its in already. The fit of the PDE downpipe was perfect on my 4EAT and hooked up to my GReddy catback without a problem. It appears to make loads of power. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Now I need a reflash.
