Is there a difference in body parts from 1993-1996 Impreza to my 2001 RS?
There are some parts for sale on ebay, listed as for a 93-96 impreza. I could use these panels if they are going to fit my car...

Most of the items will work. The only thing I would worry about was the headlight design of 93 to 01. Dont know if the front of the fender will mold correctly around the 01 lights. It might be a bit off. Scope out a 93 in your town a take a close look at it.

That will fit but, there is a difference though between the older fenders and the new but I can't remember what.:confused:
I know thats of little help to you but I just don't want you jumping in without knowing.

To the best of my knowledge (admittedly limited), the fenders will physically fit the car. The difference is very likely in the corner lamp. The headlamps/grille/hood from a MY00 fit my '96 no problem, but I retained the same '96 corner lamps
Are those fenders genuine Subaru or aftermarket? If they aren't Suby fenders, you can probably buy the correct ones for your car for about the same price. You can find a aftermarket retailer here. (http://www.keystone-auto.com/locations/search.asp) They will sell retail.

fenders are the same as far as fit and finish theres only ONE difference and thats the molding 93-96 go on to the fender the 97+ the moldings stop at the end of the door I'm going to try to swap my moldings for newier style :cool: I need fenders too RUST BAD and

the panels are the same... but one differeance on the models is.. the L model has a trim piece that u will have to cover up the holes on for the RS body.. but the front fenders are the same.. i got my hands on a 96 L one for my 00 RS which i managed to find a snow bank ...
