The non-VIS that I sell and the VIS are exactly the same look, style and quality. The only major difference is that on the VIS there is a small amount of CF used on the underside as a overlay where the VIS emblem is. Did you want pics compared to a stock hood?

Any pics or info about a carbon hood w/ reverse scoop for the STi would be very much appreciated...buying soon!

BTW: I'm partial to the Kamanari style venting (like on their 02-03 wrx hoods) more than the Seibon style...any options available?

IIRC Trial doesnt make their hoods in CF. Apparently there was a vendor a while back or sometime or maybe even now that was planning on making a replica in CF, but no word yet. However, I believe Zerosports has a CF hood and they have the reverse cowl. I KNOW Cusco does, but those two hoods cost about 1000 bucks and thats prob without shipping from Japan.

Miracle Worker : The vents are stock style. The holes for the nozzles have to be drilled. I have yet to see a hood myself that they are predrilled. Ill have pics after the weekend hopefully. :)

Yep. Ready to install. The latch and hinges are ready to bolt in.They use steel inserts. ;)

got my VIS "tracer" style hood in today!!! let me thank nino's auto accesories for this PERFECT hood. It even had the washer nozzles PRE DRILLED!!! Absolutlely perfect weave!!! I love this hood and I love nino's :D A++++++++++

Ok, On my home scale....The Tracer is 20.0 without anything attached to it and the stock is 16.0 with the 2 stops and the metal underscoop part and the rubber strip in the front. Funny thing is that I had to go and get some smaller bolts for the latch cause it has smaller holes tapped for some reason. My stock latch uses the same size bolts as the hinges, I'm assuming everybody elses does too. Plus no hole for the windshield washer sprayer hoses clip underneath and no holes for the stops either.

So i figure Tracer = 20 lbs
Stock = 15.5 lbs

I was in the same situation. You need washer nozzles, and hose. And the hood catch on the front. I guess if you go with hood pins you may not need the catch.

Price is still good and LVSUBARU hit the nail on the head with the required parts. :)

is the carbon fiber hood strong enough to hold a rally lightpod.And do you have in stock and how long is the sale for?

Not sure on the lightpod, But I would imagine its as strong as the aluminum one at least seeing as the alum one is very soft.Sale will keep running for a while.

When I last spoke to the clown that ships the hoods he told me that he would send the correct one to you with a call tag.I assumed it was over.Every email since I have sent him I ask if your hood was taken care of and he says its handled.
