i had my RS since 00 dec around the 17th i think? i gotta find out what date it was when i picked it up.....but anyhooo....
my first car i was paying for and the car i really wanted.......but HONESTLY yes.....in 99 i was in japan an i saw the evo for the first time the 4 and 5....man.....i tried so hard looking for that car in the states but no luck and my noobness to cars......i was heart broken til i came to this wonderful place called....s u b a r u
so i entered....picked up a catalog and read and did some research on this thing called the Impreza........in awe why i never seen this car on the road so i saved money and so on...til mid 00 but still nto enough moneyto put down to be happy with.....and still living in Ny...so i keep going lookin for jobs and such.....such a horrible economy...then o1 models being released....finally i can get it.......but a 6 month wait on a 5 spd sedan RS DAMN IT WHY GOD WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYyyyyyyy????????? but an auto for a 2 day wait coming from cherry hill i think....somewhere in that god awful state.....paid 19K with taxes....so i couldn t complain.....
so i started moddin and auto-xing and in 2002 and learnign more about how to "DRIVE" it then just drive it.....it made me a better person behind the wheel:

in late 03.......giving a friend a ride to the airport i was heading back home......cruising on the local highway and heading for this turn i always take "at a safe and reasonable speed" but in the bend this truck who was next to me decides he wants my lane.....so he takes it....with his lack of manner fails to use any turn signals......and i try to avoid hitting him i slam on the brakes during this curve at my "reasonable speed" so i avoid hitting him....but i find myself in a really sweet drift......but kinda scared since i never been in a drift for this long besides snow....so i try to bring it back but my tires got really gummy(re92 since my rims got bent before and i sold them) it swings back that clips my frotn bumper and fender into the wall.....swings it full 180 as i shift into N so i dont blow my damn trans.....both rims i can feel slam the curb and hop it.....as i see paint and urethane fly off the car.....it felt like the matrix but i was the butt of the bullet watchin as i go....as i come to a stop i peep in the mirror...that truck is gone....i turn back around with total anger and take off...but then my car starts to limp from the bent suspension....look in my mirrors and i seem to be missing one....
get to a huge section of the highway and i can not see him or her anywhere.....i pull off the highway and take the local roads back....my anger settles down to a calm saddnessas i pull over to see the damage.....
HID and Fog light Shattered, Clear Corner Cracked, Front bumper torn and shaved off, fender crumpled, side mirror hanging for dear life by the wire harness, side molding shaved off(not the way i wanted) rims on driver side seem to have a bit of positive camber(a sarcastic manner) rear bumper and wrx spats destroyed, rear Jspec clears shattered, trunk shifted......driver sides struts bent and rims don't seem to have a lip anymore...front and rear crossmembers bent sti trailing arm bent as well....
5 weeks straight i fell into a physical illness coughing and being so tired all the time.....some say depression....i think it was as well
being jobless for a year not much money left to fix the car.....i had to sell all my dj equip and studio equip....plus a few things that was close to me....i know why all this for a car?
its my baby.....i had to.....
2 months later....the car is fixed.....and now looks like this.....

close to perfect but still needs some work on the trunk and underside
but now i got 3 jobs and making some money again.....paying off soem debts and etc....catchin up on things =D
and out there driving "reasonable" again!!
