Well, to say that I tried to purchase Borla's and a PEP(I'll wait) from you all and the companies hadn't delivered when they were supposed, it has actually been pleasant. Could it be that lady that I speak to each time cools me off (j/k) :p . Thanks Kym.

Customer Service and Communication:-A.
For the most part you have kept me in the loop for the stuff I was looking for. Having bought the Borla exhaust from you, I was happy that you had it in stock and available for pickup. Talking to Kym is always pleasant and the emails from Steve, very professional.

Price:B++.
Altough they are good and comparable to many people out there, I still find myself calculating the tax in the OC and the mileage to pickup versus other vendors who may or may not charge shipping. Sometime I still by stuff out of state because of the lack of sales tax and shipping is less than gas and the effort to drive all the way down there.

Overall: A
I still recommend you to people looking for a local vendor, because I like Steve's business ethic and Kym's personality. I like what you guys are trying to create there and hope that it prospers.

Thanks, Marvin! Unfortunately, the tax kills some of our deals for the local customers.. but we always try and cut a deal for the customer if they decide to have their parts installed here... and of course, I try and cut a few bucks for repeat customers ;).

I want to thank all of you guys for the awesome reviews. Kym and I try to make everyone feel comfortable and we like to show customers what we've done to their cars. I always hated places that wouldn't let you step foot into the work area.

We've recently added a bunch of product lines to our stock so if you don't see anything listed, please call Kym and ask. If we don't carry it, we can probably get it.

Thanks again,

I tagged to your shop with a fellow IE member after the southcoast meet. Jeez, talk about UBER-friendly. I didn't really know anyone there and within 30 minuetes almost felt like I was home. We were sitting on your office couch and just chilling.

Kym was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions. Steve seems like a very competant mechanic from the short time I was there watching.

Prices are competetive with other vendors and the install prices are beyond cheap.

The only thing I don't like is the 1-2 hour drive to get to your shop!

Anyhow she was nice as usual .. Placed my order - got a FABULOUS price ... and shipping boy I tell jo0 ...

I'd do buisness with Aerosim again ... I just wish they were closer that would pwn lol ... Our shops in the sfV dont specialize in Subbies besides ESX but they are always busy and are a bit older ... *shrug*

Just wanted to say Thank you!
They were able to find a time to install my Eibach and CEL fix today. I originally called to see if they were available in the morning, but Kym just told me to come by.

Install was flawless, nice work, nice people, friendly environment.

I didn't understand why there was so much hype, but now I understand. Would recommend these guys to anyone. All I gotta say is Wow and Thank you.

Kym was able to squeeze me in for spring install on Tuesday night. I thought it was kinda late, but she just told me to come by, no problem.

Install was flawless, very professional. Would recommend to anyone. Definitely A++++ 10 out of 10 service.

Knowledgeable, friendly, and just AWESOME!

Although Kym made me feel stupid, because she knows more about cars than I do. :)

As soon as I get my paycheck on the 31st, will have to bug Kym about the up pipe install.

Grade A+++++++++ service.

Well I for one don't know whats gotten into everyone here. But it has to rhyme with rack...

Aerosim has it all wrong!

I think I speak for the entire so-cal subaru community when I say:

We want our vendors to not let us within 10 feet of our car or even the work area without a stearn warning about insurance! And surely never let us know what they are doing to our cars if they even let us look at them while they wrench.

We want high prices, workers NOT willing to reply to emails or phonecalls at odd hours or even in a timely manner, Customer service reps that act like you are annoying them by ordering parts (jeez like we don't have enough money being thrown at us already), are not willing to answer questions, and know nothing about our cars or the parts that go on them.

We want a stodgy atmosphere like we are waiting in a cheep dentists office, with cold unresponsive employes who come out after botching your install due to their total lack of tech knowledge and inform you of all the extra parts/services you need to buy to fix 'whats wrong' with your car (and of course act like you are a moron and have ruined your car if you are not willing to do their $200 engine flush, $50 dollar e-brake adjustment, $20 oil filter and $100 oil change on top of their competitively priced inept labor)

We want the staff to look at us puzzled any time we use a specific brand name or technical term more difficult then brakes, car, motor, bad, etc etc, and suggest parts that they have proven on other similar performance 'Imports' such as their buddys Civic DX, or their shop foremans lowered Tercel with subs.

We want to be overcharged, disrespected, and intimidated by our performance shops DAMNIT!!

I mean comeon get with the standard program guys! (because as we all know there should be no girls and certanly no nice ones working in a performance shop, I mean it's a GARAGE not, um some kind of place where um girls go...yeah)

And if you are not familliar with 'The Infamous DoomEquation' or do not have your sarcasm-meter handy.

You should all go down there, buy something and get it installed... and see just how wrong they have got it ;) :D

You guys are second to none.

-DE

Kym- I think I left my wheel lock key there (when I checked at the track for it It was gone and the brake install was the last time I had it) wondering if you guys noticed a spare that appeared in the days after I left? :D Thanks for being the only vendor ever to keep hours even CLOSE to as late as mine, your speedy and impeccible service is under rated (and so are your wrenching skills, you do your thing and let nobody stop you! :D Ride on lil' cowgirl!)

Naylor- Your car is siiiiiiiiick. Good to meet you!

Skylab- Notice anything from the N1 set yet? Good to meet you there as well...

All of you keep up the great work so we never have to deal with the usual automotive BS ever again, you guys do it right.

..And be sure to let me know when you are looking for workers to hire when you expand and open a shop in the LA/SFV area, so all of us don't have to drive down the parking lot (405) for an hour to get the great service we all know and love with you guys.

Aerosim Is by the the best Vendor I have delt with. Besides the fact that they each have vast subaru knowledge and they can install anything, the thing that impresses me the most is their quick response to any email questions or if you call their office with a question, they get back to you immediately. That alone is what keeps me a customer and I will be going back, especially for my uppipe. Thanx Kym.

Recently bought some carbotech rotors from aerosim...

-Left a message on the phone for Kym on the availablity.
-Got a call back that same day and also was told the reason why she didn't call eariler (all day at buttonwillow). Told I could come by and pick it up that day.
-Stopped by 2 hours later to get the rotors. Got to sit on the über couch again and chat/bs for a bit before heading on back to the Land of the Dirt People.

I just can't think of anyway service can be improved. Both Steve and Kym and super friendly and honest. Complete pleasure dealing with your shop.

I had a Stromung 3" downpipe with divorced wastegate, PDE flex up-pipe, Perrin 22-24mm rear sway bar, Kartboy rear droplink set, and Progress 02-03 springs installed today.

...and I was able to use their high speed internet access to VPN in to work as well.

I would highly recommend them and will be going back for more work.

The car feels amazing and handles great. It is amazing how well you can hear the turbo. It pulls up to the redline!

I apologize if I haven't gotten back to you on time. The desk is covered with post its and the board is full of names, numbers and parts - I have your contact info somewhere. :) I don't mind if you give me a call or send me an e-mail with a reminder or just to ask for an update - sometimes I need the extra push. :) I'll send you a PM right now. :)

Hey Ray :) I just talked to you yesterday. :) Anyway, I'm still waiting for a call back from our distributor for the Nitrous stuff. I sent you a PM about the brakes and struts though.

How much do those run? I love my Titanium WRC knob but it burns like the fires of hell in the summer time after sitting in the sun. Might want one of those for the season.

I guess I'll take that as a compliment since I'm the one who works on cars. We've straightened things out and we're back. If you have any other comments, please feel free to direct them to me ... the owner of Aerosim.

Thanks,
Steve

PS. I'll be taking over the posting duties on NASIOC for a while. If anyone needs to contact Kym, she's still at the shop and can be reached via phone (714) 545-5679, or e-mail Kym.Phan@aerosim-research.com

I got springs installed this week. Response over pm is fast, and phone service is friendly. Kym and Steve are both nice and helpful. I watched Steve during the whole install, he is very knowledgable. Prices are competitive, but service is theyre best selling point. Im a satisfied customer. :)

Thanks for your support. Things have been extremely rough since Kym quit. She told me that she'd give me two weeks notice and then decided not to come in the next day. So basically I've been answering phones and e-mails with one hand and working on cars with the other.

Milan's come on board, although he's only part time for now, it certainly helps. I've also hired Emily (Jobe is her nickname) to keep everything from falling apart.

Thanks again for the support. It hasn't been easy trying to run the shop alone.

though i won't be back at aerosim i wish you guys luck in the future and your current projects.
