Well the time has come for me to add something to my Outback :). I was looking at a Pulley Kit for it which is $145 shipped at Rallitek, seems like an alright idea. But then I looked at headers for the 2.5li. About $300 shipped. What do you think I should buy?

Factor in installation. Pulleys are DIY but headers on a 6 year old car will be a bear to get off.

Actually, about 2 monthes ago I was out wheeling and I hit a rock and cracked the left side of my headers and had to get them replaced... so the OEM arent that old.

Installing new headers should be fairly simple for you if they were recently removed.. when i changed mine, the studs cam out when i wrenched on the nuts, stripped a couple of the holes, so i had to install a helicoil in them.. pain in the @$$..anyways i recomend the headers as well..
