Just wondering if this center differential is the same or similar one used for the newer AWD systems. There's a MY90 Loyale that we're taking apart, I'm thinking of taking its center diff and welding it so I can make my GF4 RWD for special events.

The Loyale is a manual tranny. My GF4 is manual as well.

The Loyale center diff has to meet these criteria:

1) It has to be from a fulltime 4WD Loyale without diff lock (aka AWD), I don't know if such a beast was produced...
2) It has to be the same final drive ratio as the front and rear diffs, which I don't think it does

If you can confirm that both these are true and that the design will even allow it to be hooked up, then yes it should work...

Yea, it's a 4WD Loyale with the puch button on the shifter.

I'm only thinking about using it to convert my MY99 GF4 to RWD, so I don't think it'll matter does it?
