My wife's OBS has a craptastic KARR alarm that came installed from the dealer. How hard might it be to remove that choad?

pretty simple... i would venture to guess that the alarm brain is probably installed under the driver side dash. depending on how it was configured you can just disconnect the alarm brain module and the vehicle should start.

if the vehicle doesn't start you will need to find where the starter kill was wired in and connect the original starter wire together.
