Hi everydoby,

I'm having a little proble. I got into an accident and my hood got the worst of it. Good thing I lowered the Suby about 3" and the airbag didn't go off. I found a hood for a 2000 Impreza and the only difference that I can see is the headlights and the grill (not to mention the vents and scoop). I need all the info I can get. I'm also planning on putting an aftermarket headlight that will be for the 97-01 impreza. Now is the headlight mounting location the same or is it different?

Please help!!!!!!

All the mounting locations are the same
As long as the headlights, grille, and hood are 97+ it'll all bolt up and work

accually you dont need 97 and up headlights and grill for the RS hood to work it won't match up that well but it isn't to bad it'll still look good.

scobaru is correct. cindergarden posted pics of his late gc/gm/gf with the early lights/grill late last spring. the hood covers the lamps alittle bit. not really noticable unless u look at it and know the difference. it didn't look bad in person even.

So if ur doing the conversion a piece at a time, it won't be an eyesore.

pretty easy to find a used RS grill

but the lights/scoop/vents are gonna be tough to find used.

I think it does look pretty good try to find caddy daddy's old brighton. he used rs front bumper and hood with old headlights and grill

from a distance yes... it's not too bad
but up close... no... it just doesnt look right

my better 1/2 has same set up on his rally car - up close it's not so pretty ;) shhhhhhh dont tell him i said that
