Just purchased my frist Scooby. 2000 2.5 RS. First thing I noticed is top end isnt what I exspected to be at all. Coming from a stock Accord I had assumed the Scooby would cruz easier at 95-100 mph compared to my Accord. Though the RS feels allot stronger.
I dont care about drag racing. I just happen to drive fast
normally. My question is should I be looking into getting an engine from someone like axis, adding a turbo or maybe a supercharger? Opinions?

Also how much for used?

First you have to figure out what you want to do with the car..

Then you have to figure out what kind of power you want and how much you have to spend.

Once you know that start to search, there is a ton of info here... check out the noobie forum, and the FAQ around the tech and noobie forums.

Last watch it on the street... rekless driving isnt taken lightly here.

Superchargers never really worked otu for the EJ motor. There was some people experimenting with them but nothing really got on the market that was reliable.

The most reliable thing would be a motor swap w/an EJ20T or to turbo the EJ25 with good engine management and proper tuning.

I contemplated alot of different things but decided that it was best for me to buy an already converted car because it fit my needs better. :)

Good luck.
