Need something cheap and basic and I dont need a harness. I have seen the HKS for about $80, should I go with that or is there something else I should look into? I am hoping for a black unit with red lights.

why would it make any difference which you buy? Is one going to keep your car running after you take the key out any better than the other?

You said you need something cheap and basic, so find the cheapest one you can and go for it. Its not rocket science.

Yeah, but I know that some companies make higher quality stuff than others and some turbo timers have other features too. ;)

i have a blitz dtt dc2 in silver. it matches the interior so well, and i didnt have a boost guage so i got that added functionality.
there is a pivot turbo timer avalible at machv that looks ok. i was going to buy the old stealth unit, the new one has a chrome toggle switch so i passed on it cause i didnt want that but it was cheap.

Sent you a PM, but do you think its possible to paint the face black? Silver wont really match the interior of my car but even if I cant paint it I am sure I can work something out.

Pulse timer relay and a 30 amp relay. The do it yourself turbo timer that can be hidden. Why send money for a friggin timer? Its a fancy timed relay. Big Whoop. Maybe they add soem color LEDs and a chime or voltmeter- oooooh.

especially if you have the faux brushed aluminum interior like on the wrx.

if you shave the cord and make it come out the back, dab a little epoxy over the old hole, sand it down and use silver testors paint to cover up your work. It looks like a clean almost OEM mount.

i love mine, even if it does not do all the cool things other TTs do.
