I have a 93 Impreza 2WD and the car does not come with a sway bar.

How can I put one on? Will the rear trailing arms from a 4WD fit?

I have the trailing arms from a 1990 Legacy 2wd but they use a different style endlink (like to ones on the Legacy turbo or STi)

Thanks for the help

it should work. I'm not sure about the whole legacy thing but awd ones do make sure you got the brackets too

yes it will work im doing the exact same thing....what you will need is the swaybar. mounts. trailing arms. endlinks. if you have any underspray coating you will need to remove the crap where the mounts mount to. and why you have everythign torn apart you might as well do a rear disc conversion. i have everyhting i need cept' im waiting for my adjstable trailing arms. if yo uhave any questions pm me.

Thanks fellas

Im putting on my STi 2-pot rears today so Ill start prepping the undercoating while Im under there.

I guess Ill just end up going with the STi trailing arm set then.

I added a swaybar to my 95L. Any rear lateral links to a 2.2L or 2.5 liter impreza work(1.8s didnt get the swaybar, even if they were AWD). ALso early forresters or legacies 95-whenever they changed the bodystyle will work because they are all the same.
So you should be able to find some easily for cheap since they are the same as all many other models.

I got the adjustable swaybar kit from SPO motorsports. It already comes with heavy duty mounts, bushings hardware and everything. That way you get everything you need and its stronger than the stock stock stuff. This kit is around $300. It might be a good idea to chase the threads in the frame with a tap because they might be rusty. Then you will need the 4 mounting bolts that bolt the mounts to the frame.

I dont remember having any underbody coating goo in that area.

I looked today while I was under there and didnt see any holes.

Since we sell them at my work I will just end up getting all the Whiteline stuff (Bar, heavy duty mounts, links, etc)

The 2-pot brake install went flawlessly:)

yah there's rubber nub's that cover up the hole if you got that black tar under coat crap you gotta scrap that off and find the nub then take it off. all the body's of the GC8's are the same from what I remember but some we do'nt get some parts were other years or higher models will have that part and whatever we don't get there will be a rubber nub covering it up. jdm stuff that hte US never see the'll be a nub in the place of that jdm part
