This is the full-adjustable backlight version that slides right in to the stock rubber column-mount cup. J-spec suggested that it would match the STI lighting better than the $10 cheaper STI-look non-adjustable gauge. Looks pretty good to me...
A couple of tips:
1) Don't use the factory boost gauge wiring. I was getting some very weird results using the positive, ground or both wires. Ultimately, I gave up and used the same positive as my radar detector from the rear wiper fuse, and a chassis ground.
2) If you strip off the protective tubing between the gauge and color controller, you'll see that you can pull out the power wires (which terminate at the gauge end for some stupid reason) and save some valuable space inside the corrugated tubing.
3) Silicone lube is a great way to get the gauge into the pod. It's a VERY tight fit--and you should never force these things when they're dry...
Color looks decent, and (most important) the needle is lit so you can read it at night!
