Certainly sounds ghetto.

Why would it be ghetto, used one on my 02 and had good results with it. I wouldn't how every use one on the STI unless I had a few other things first, new engine managment beign one of them.

had on my sti..n-ter cooler ring is to large for the sti TMIC,you will use a bottle of co2 on ONE 1/4 mile run.didnt see any hp gain.

Like I said you need to use it with engine managment, it cools the charge a bit and I am sure that the STI's ecu did not deal well with that. It's best used on the street and at the start of a run, you don't use it like a wet shot and have it spray the whole run, as that is a waste.

They make a WRX ring that fits into the STI TMIC, the normal ring in too big.

i've always felt that the nitrous spraying onto the IC is a waste. i know you can use co2 but you'd get much better results just injecting the nitrous in like a 25 shot, or running water/alc injection of course.
