I recently bought some Amber Hella500 foglights from Rallylights.com (http://www.rallylights.com) and had them installed using the Kartboy mouting brackets (special thanks to Russell Rogers helping me install them). Russell installed these by splicing into the stock wiring system, so I use my stock foglight switch to operate them. The yellow look was just a personal preference of mine so please no flames :D. Plus I was going for functionality and practiciality since the majority of time I only use my fogs when the weather is bad up here in Seattle, and I hear that yellow light is best suited for these conditions. I personally love the look and light output of these foglights. They are head and shoulders above the stock, and more expensive, foglights! Here are some pix which give you an idea of how they look....especially on a wrb subie :).

Here are the foglights I bought:

Comparison shots!
EDM Sti headlights w/ Hid kit. And before anyone says anything....I will be getting these re-aimed this week. :)

....with the stock foglights on.

....with the Amber Hella500 fogs on. Notice how much farther light shoots out (which can be aimed to shoot out farther!) and how much better the light spread is. Also, the pic doesn't show it too well, but these fogs shoot light out a LOT wider than the stock ones do.

Some eye candy shots!
Here's how they look mounted on my car and turned on.

A side profile shot of the lights on at night.

I bought the Hella 500 Amber Fog Lamps Kit (which came with the nuts and bolts to mount them). I also bought the Kartboy Mounting brackets (look in the vendor for sale forum), which help make the installation of these foglights a lot easier in the 02/03 Impreza foglight location.

I believe that they are the same wattage as the stock foglights. This is actually why I went with these fogs since I knew it wouldn't melt any of the stock wiring. I'm not sure if the bulb is yellow, but I do know that the reflecting lense is yellow.

I've had these fogs on my outback and you'll notice that you have a sharp cutoff is similar to the EDM STi lights you have. I've now got them on my silver rex and they look amazing with the morettes. I just can't seem to get both of the fogs to work at the same time for some reason.
