Wanted to make sure all the 99-02 2.5L guys knew about the engine coolent additive that SOA is giving out. If you haven't gotten an update from them soon call the dealership, first job is free...

Weird, I was just at Continental today with my brother (he has a 01 Outback Sport Limited) and he had a coolant leak. They fixed it by adding "special sauce" as the guy said. Apparently it goes to the leak and seals it. :confused:

I'll have to call them up and see if I can get in there.

Yeah, they sent me an addition to my manual saying it needed to be added everytime the coolent was changed... Something to keep the head gasket sealed or something... Odd that it would effect both the SOCH's and DOHC's
