I have bad wind noise coming from the drivers side window, right where the window comes down to the side mirror. I took the door panel off and adjusted the window stoppers (stops the windows from going to far up on either side) and it's still there. I can't seem to get the sides (with adjusting the stoppers, up and down) to match up right. Anyone know of an easier way to fix this? And has anyone else had this problem?

I asked Subaru service how much it would be to fix and they said $80 just to take the door panel off and look. I'm past warrenty and extended warrenty dosen't cover it. And I don't feel like paying $80 for them to tell me what I already know.

Mine's been doing it since I got it. Don't really know what to do about it except turn the radio up. :)

Same here, been doing it since we owned it. My suspicion is the frameless door windows are the culprit. They rely on the weatherstrip to seal, and after several years, the rubber probably shrinks a bit. I wonder if it's worse in the winter or summer? Never thought about that. Will ponder and check in warmer weather...

Lower the window and, usiing the palms of the hand, squish the sides of the 'sail' (black triangular mirror/tweeter-if-so-equipped thingy) together. Thsi tightens the seal around the front of the window. Some folks get a lot of reduction of noise with this. Any further improvements involve going inside the door.
