Can you put a turbo on a 2.5rs? could it handle a turbo like a WRX?

suspension, rear sway bar, borla header cobb intake

you can turbo it, but as far as reliability goes...kiss it goodbye:D

not personally, but check the aftermarket forced induction forum. you'll find all your answers there.:disco:

Welcome, nice ride...its looks lowered, but thats not on the mod list.

-I hate to say it...SEARCH...there is TONS of info on a 2.5RS-T. Anything from complete kits, to custom jobs.

-I'm pretty sure that the EJ25 can't handle as much boost as the EJ20. I think most guys run at 6psi????:confused:

-Where to go next??? Its really what you want out of the car. Turbo it if your looking for big gains, and not worried about reliability so much. For suspension you could get a set of coilovers, new sway bars, endlinks,wheels/tires, and be able to take any of those twisties. Even A COBB intake or any CAI wouldn't be a bad place to start either. Its all up to you. Theres lots of paths to take.:cool:

Looks good man. Head over to www.rs25.com for engine swap or tuning help. There are tons of turbo RS's there.

Go with a 50 shot of nitrous it will get close to where a turbo is and a heck of a lot cheaper. Just make sure you do it right it will be as reliable as a turbo.

Turbo's + RS's EJ25 = unreliable. Most run anywhere from 3-8psi on a stock motor. If you think this EJ25 is similar to the STi's EJ25, think again because it's not.

I've done the whole suspension route with JIC Coilovers, Whiteline 18-22mm rear sway (which is pretty pointless now), Cusco front/rear and V-brace, as well as rear under bar, and STi GC aluminum control arms, which are waiting to go on. Only other main thing I havent upgraded is my front sway bar.

Next step is the motor... which will either be a built up sti ej25 block, usdm ej205, or jdm sti ej207.
